I could m8, but ya abit far away!
Should be a few others on here with an arch roller I'd have thought, maybe they will be closer...
Good luck with it.

						Cool, thanks.
I am getting the car painted in May at a friends shop in newcastle, if no joy before then perhaps I could.
Lets see what happens but thanks for the offer Milko.

what would be A sensible roll on arches? 205 fit standard can get away with 215's on the rear. Are 225's any bother on the rear with out A roll or would they need rolling? Also does this damage the arch's in anyway?
sorry for jumping on the thread
cheers

Depends on the offset of the wheel.
I have 225's on the rear and 215's on the front. Don't have any rubbing at the moment, but wanting to go bigger.

The problem you will have is no matter how careful you are when rolling the arch you will always damage the paint and in no time at all the dreaded E30 killer (rust) will start to show its ugly head as it has with mine.

I am respraying my whole car soon and would treat for the interim. The paint often cracks when rolling the arches.

This isnt true, some cars do crack, others dont, it depends on a few things, in my expirence most dont crack, but its always possible....Greeny wrote:The problem you will have is no matter how careful you are when rolling the arch you will always damage the paint and in no time at all the dreaded E30 killer (rust) will start to show its ugly head as it has with mine.

I couldnt really say mate as i got them done whilst getting a full respray. He will hopefully be able to give you a rough estimate but in saying that he may want to see the car first.

Hi everyone, just a little tip when you use a guard roller, use a hair dryer along the area that you want too roll,it makes the paint pliable and hence there is no cracking or splitting,iv'e done this myself quite a few times and it works, regards Phil New Zealand.

Does rolling the arch damage it in any way? because the guy who is going to respray my car said once the arch is rolled, kinks will appear in the arch and it'll start rusting after a few months even after a respray.
Also does anyone in Birmingham, who can roll my arches for me?
