Hello all

I just fitted a back box to my Cabby and it's far to loud for my liking, which performance box has a sporty tone when you want it but sounds quiet at a stand still.

Advice needed as i'll be deaf in a week if this thing doesn't come off!

It's a twin exit universal jobbie, looks great was easy to fit but it's far to load, anyone tried "power flow"

them uni box are designed to be loud and look big.

I have alonglife system on my merc which sound swicked, but again maybe a bit to loud for ur liking.

I would try to steering away from a custom back box on ur cab as they are always going to sound louder, unless u just get a stainless steel system made.

Supersprint and scorpion back boxes sounds great 8)

It looks great and fit the tech 1 kit exit perfectly, Guess it would be ok on a hard top. I'll have to have a look around

Powerflow are very variable. A decent branch will be able to make something up that will sound how you want it to sound & look how you like. A poor branch... won't.

i had a powerflow on my cab and it sounded like a nova too loud so i went for the scorpion which i have had on two 325 e30's one the dtm and the other was the straight one, the dtm a bit louder on tick over and the le mans  hardly noitceable but both sound wicked when you boot it, personally i always go for the scorpion back box sounds just right but every ones got different taste so hope this helps.

Wouldn't the twin pipe be better at getting the gases out faster?
