Hi to all! in previous thread was saying about getting a meet in ashford kent sorted out at the american diner , I have spoke to the manager there and he would be happy for us to have a once a month meet on a friday night .

For those who dont know the diner it is real american style diner (bit like a huge aluminum trailer) it has good floodlit carpark area and the food is good too !

manager has said that he will also give us 10% off all food and drink on the night

Must say though really dont think it would be place for donuts / burnouts etc

would really like to get some names together before i go back to manager to confirm any dates so only put your name down if you would genuinely turn up :D
I do understand not everyone could turn up at every meet but would like to get an average number of people who will turn up reguarly

Thanks

Stuart

Its difficult getting a meet established.

I tried to arrange an E30Zone meet at a pub that Pistonheads use http://www.thewoodman-idehill.co.uk/ been there a few times, big car park, great food, nice roads to get to it. Got a good response but only the Croydon Massive turned up  . Not a problem, great weather, sat outside with good company and we tucked into some of the best burgers and mixed grills most of us had tasted.

Stuart - what has happened about this mate ?

Looks like Friday is not good, what other times were there - Saturday or Sunday would probably be best ?

Well i was up that way tonight so popped in for a burger , Bloody nice food and drinks and the atmosphere was great I turned up with a carpark full of yanks as it was there night but was made welcome and a few took interest in the e30
Got contact details if anyone is interested in a regular meet up there obviously not clashing with lakeside or any other local meets , If i can guarantee a sensible amount he will give us a night , I was thinking the last friday of each month so its 2 weeks either way of lakeside ??
Only thing is there only open till 10pm but can chat to him about that as well , Should we get a list going of those deffinatly interested and throw some days around ??
Ill put a few pics up tomorrow of the place as well .

might be up for a breeze up there, fraid my e30 is fairly standard and boring (atm) but got another post up about fitting e36 wheels to an e30...... see the ice/accesorys section if anyone has any ideas.... ashford is about 30 miles from me, would be good to get up there and meet some people

Right , A few pics from last night , Firstly the amerian diner where theres quite a bit of room inside and toilets to the side , Flood light come on as well so your not in the dark outside winkeye
Image
Now the important bit , The food , Lovely hoola hoola burger with pineapple
Free refills on coke , dr.pepper etc as well
Image
Looking back on the thread people are saying no to a friday night , According to the guy i spoke to he said we could go the same night as the mini night so the 2nd saturday of the month , Problem being is lakeside falls on the 2nd or 3rd week of each month so might clash every so often unless lakeside was the 3rd saturday of the month but would have to speak to dave (dolph)
Image
Need guaranteed names and the place is absolutly spot on for a e30 meet and is a regular for the dub boys , No chavs in sight either :D
