I've done a search!! And can't find this red/black wire malarky! Just posts telling people to search for it, or saying they've done it!

Anyone point me in the right direction?

If you look in your drivers side door shut there is a multiplug that connects the door wiring loom to the cars main loom and to the central locking ecu. The plan is to hardwire the black/red wires to one another and bypass the multiplug. I'm having same problem as well but mine had already been done.

As said you need to bypass the multi plug.

The feed runs a loop through the drivers door which is where the problem starts. Red wires with black tracers 8)

Search for "red AND black" and my username, and go to the earliest posts, written before I got fed up with repeating it.
