As title is it possible to fit an e36 m3 engine into a e30 sport?
Been offered an e36 m3 engine gearbox loom and ecu for £600 quid is this worth doing or should i go down the tuning route with the 2.5 engine?

do it!! There's a chap called Henry on here, he has had a couple posts started on here. Amazing conversion in his M3. Think Jimbob started one. DO it!!
Tuning the 2.5 is expensive considering the gains, unless you go turbo!!!
I hope that's not the e36 evo engine?
Better off with the 3.0

If you don't then tell me where the engine is at. At that price its most likely a fcuked engine though as for that lot you usually pay 3x as much.

I wouldn't bother with tuning the 2.5 unless you want to spend a lot more than £600.
The M3 engine has to be worth having a look at, £600 is suspiciously cheap though. If it is a good engine I would definitely go for it

Well the engine etc is from a guy up my way who breaks anything bmw.
my mate's oldman knows him so thats why im getting a decent deal.
It's the 3.0 engine.
just come across a problem with the car anyways the bloody engine has thrown it's mounts and by the looks of it has twisted some metal.
So it looks like i'll be buying another shell. old one is knackered anyway.
usual story inner rear wing, jacking point's etc.
