As said before the link has been removed! All I can think is that it is a scam!geo1400 wrote:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-BMW-X5-3-0i- ... dZViewItem

I have, as always, been looking through ebay at auctions but also classifieds and have found some alarming adverts that could easily catch an eager buyer out.
I found an E46 Alpina convert on an 04 for 13k, a 2003 M3 with low miles for 9k and a few others for equally stupid prices.
I have no idea what the scam is but Im sure it could be to hook someone into buying and mug them when the purchase is meant to go ahead!! Only thing that makes me think like that is that all the ads are from people that have registered on the day of the advert and have no feedback!!
Cant see it been innocent! If the price it too low to be true it usually is! (mu dad always told me that)
Seen this before and just saved a mate getting done on a Seadoo that was just too cheap to be believable.
Normally the scam is that they have "ripped off" a genuine ebay account with a good rating which puts potential buyers at ease. In the ad it will then say due to problems with their account they aren't getting messages via ebay and so it will ask you to email them directly at an address given in the ad and then they will want to deal off ebay. Then they ask for a deposit, which you eagerly send to secure a bargain, then they vanish...

drowningman is right. ive seen the same cars. get to auction and see whats happening in the car trade instead of buying from the stealers. think you guys just love to hate on anyone that can get things cheaper than you.
