hi there,
i have a little 4 pot 316 on a 91, and need to upgrade to something that can pull the skin off of a rice pudding, i have already changed front suspension and have a complete 25 axle diff back beam set up ready to transplant, any ideas on the best lump to go for, the car is used everyday, and am unsure on what would be required to change to 325 engine for example.
any help would be appreciated, whats needed etc.

Weekends work would get you an M20 2.5
Bit longer would get you an M30/M50

any idea what is required to go m30/50 way, had the car 10 years and changed lump last yeasr after original tgave out. now the changed one also sounds like wont make nother year so time to play!

M30/M50 swap is not a straight forward swap,many different parts need to be sourced!
Have a look through the engine swaps section to get an idea.
