there is absolutely nothing in hastings at all! woke up all excited, looked out of the window and........ rain! then it brightened up and we had a nice sunny warmish day. if you go 2 miles north, out of town, there is loads!

the only snow i saw was on cars coming from out of town.

Plenty of snow left in hatfield, awsome in the park and ride car park, any car park really.

Dam right! My mate pushed me most of the way to work this morning! Got home ok till i try'd getting on the drive. On my road you come down the hill Turn on the drive which is slightly up hill. Got stuck just there. Two wheel's on the road and two on the drive. Mate pushing, no difference. Walked off left it there and got some grit. That sorted it! I'm sure it made some people laugh :D

Yes yes and YES!

Drifted all the way to work, then not concentrating, got caught out......classic it was. Span all the way round, nearside all bashed up, door/quarter panel/sill/suspension/wheel.

Then later on went off-roading in my mates Suzuki Rhino, and ended up, upside down in a ditch. A sucessful day. :D

Junior executive cars have just started hitting things around here, in complete astonishment that their ASC etc. didn't allow them to travel at normal speed in 3 inches of snow....

Bless them.

e30's with wide aloys are the worst car ive ever driven in the snow,i got stuck in the slightest of snow fall on very gentle, almost flat hill,it would only go sideways.i was being overtaken by old grannies in little peugot 106 diesels :o:

E30's are not renowed for there snow driving abilities, burger king alloys are not wide, try 8,9 inch wide on an E30 it's even worse. I can't imagine what it would be like with a 300bhp cossie engine though!

alot of the places i deliver to early had virgin snow in their car parks and loading bays. had lots of fun attempting donuts and drifting in my sprinter. got stuck breifly on a hill where i helped two other stuck van drivers ( who didnt say thanks you). was behind some young dude in a 190e who was playing a bit hanging the arse out nicely but then he ended up facing me, which was quite funny and after i laughed at him he turned it round and went on his way. had no probs driving the touring. even made it up the hill where my flat is so i had no excuse not to go to work. doh

I had a slidy journey all the way to work. out it in second gear a lot for low speeds and it kicked the tail out everywhere. due to the traffic and the fact the car was so slippy it was undriveable I did a 3 point turn which turned into a mini dohnut then ended up walking into work. RWD is interesting in the wet!

Wow! Hope everyone involved is OK.

The 'eerie' refinement of 316i drifting will be sadly missed :(

Surely paves the way back into E30 ownership though?
