If you're really that lazy you could always consider offering to pay somebody who's already home-made theirs...

Mine are great....much better than the non smiley projectors that were on there..now they were poor.

I dont think the output of the Hellas are all that, i think that the stock Bosch units, be it the smilies or the non are much better, they may not be as bright for example, but the even trowdown of light and the wide beam is much better for driving. The Hellas produce lots of foreground lighting but thats not very good for the eyes or is it any good for driving for long distances at night.Simon wrote:Do you mean they aren't very bright?Demlotcrew wrote:IF your not interested in the output of these lamps then go ahead.

I have just switched to 2005 Bosch projectors which are used in E46/Audi TT and this is the result. (the picture is showing one of the lights on)

This is a pic of a old projector similar to that of Hella.

Iwould be only to glad to do them for ya but i imagine postage to me in Bahrain (correct spellling by the way!) would be too much! i have also seen a zenon kit here that seems quite cheap (about 100-150squids) including ballast, 6000K bulbs and all the wiring/fittings for E30. if anyone really interested i can get the make etc and i am sure a few hours of web trawling should have you finding them (Chinese made, no brand i have ever heard of but that means nothing). Not gonna put em on mine as then you wont see the angel eyes!!
