Help me to spend some money on my Cab !

Wife told me to spend some money on myself as a birthday treat. So the cab will get a present. Here is the dilema. The car is a 93 E30 318i lux in time warp condition. I do not want to turn it into a "pimp my ride" mobile . What subtle things can I spend money on for the car ? All help appreciated.

id go for better handeling etc
unless ya have a big wedge to spend

are you on 15" BBS already? If not that is mod #1

Drop the nose slightly - reduce that silly 4-finger gap to 1or2; get some lowering springs and if you don't go more than 30 or 40mm, the standard shocks will cope.

This is what mine looks like on AVO springs (for a 325 cab)

The car is as it left the factory. Even the radio is the one fitted at time of build. It has the BBS alloys and they are in mint condition as well. I does not have spots fitted under the bumper so I was thinking about these. Is it a big job to wire them up ? Is the loom there already ?

Edit....... This is the way she left the factory and is still the same

Dont need a hard top as the car lives in a garage and never comes out in damp or wet conditions . It is a toy to massage my ego, and not for day to day use. I'm now officially middle aged (46) so I can afford a few indulgences . Thanks for the idea though. Keep them coming.

Have you thought about,instead of modding any part of it,how about splashing out on some of the Meguires range to keep it in its current good state?
Fog lights are simple fit,wiring is already in place,just need to connect the lights,add a double dash switch,add 2 fuses and a relay and your done!

Wind deflector is definately one of the best things to buy for a cab.
Ziggy ... know the feeling all too well with long hair sitting next to you.
I thought I'd gone deaf in my right ear but it was just a lack of moaning.

Totally changes the look of the car - for the better.

Neil - Who let you out of the boot ?

And you will realise one day soon that not everyone is a chrome fetishist.

Luke - heated seat option is one you can do yourself with a Waeco kit and a few hours labour.
OBC - if you don't have one can also be installed in a couple of hours.
