co2 high

cars just failed mot on a no of things was goona tackle most my self but before the welder comes out how adjustable is co2 is this an indication of a worn engine has done 200k and gets hard track use do i ned to tackle this before anythinmg else gets done also read mt inner sills post lol help

It's an indication that your idle mixture needs adjusting mate.

Should be a screw on the AFM if it's an M20

Check the air filters not minging too dude.

plug gaps affect the emits also.

the ajuster screw on the AFM should be viewed as a last resort TBH if its that high.

u know im not sure they didnt attch the print out to the fail sheet brilll eh

apparently its about 550 does that mean anything lol my local garage are so helpful

depends how bad the cO is . the best way to do this is a tappet adjustment first then followed by the adjustment of the air mass meter screw....

failing that just check(but this needs to be done with a fault code reader) your coolant temp. or just change it for a new one.
