Hello this is my first post here, it seems a pretty cool site though.

I've just bought a 325, its a bit tatty but was cheap has lots of potential so I'm going to try and slowly restore it to its former glory.

Anyway I'm going to start with the engine first at the moment I'm going to change the oil & filter, plugs and the fuel filter (the cars coming up to 90k btw) is there anything else I should doing (don't fancy doing a full blown re-build just yet).

Also the CHECK light keeps coming on is this anything to worry about?

Cheers,

Nathan

I'd check whether it needs a cam belt change!
Also check all the pipes in the engine bay are ok.
Sure the guys on here will tell you loads more things to do.

Knew there was omething else I ment to mention, I'm going to do the cambelt more for peice of mind than anything else. But is there anything else such as waterpumps which would be easy enough to change at the same time?
