Ok need some experts here!

I bought a 325i cabriolet E30 with a switchable auto going through the receipts I found one from BMW for engine work but the pages detailing the work have been lost but it came to approx Ԛ£1200 and then about a week later someone had this rolling roaded and it produced 219 bhp.I,ve owned 325,s before and this does seem pretty potent but I,m dubious!!

Anyone got any ideas if this work had been done what might have been done just I,ve re-built engines before and to get it to 220bhp for Ԛ£1200 seems really cheap and from what I can tell it has standard air inlet and exhaust system so no money spent there

The work was done at BMW but the numbers are smudged and the rolling road clearly states the reg I,m guessing the work would have been done in the same area as it had been rolling roaded

Like I said i,m dubious :?

There is one thing. Your is an Auto and Autos can show hugely inflated BHP figures on rolling roads because of the huge losses through the gearbox.

Ive seen a standard 325i Auto make 220bhp on rollers before.

If it had 220bhp it would be bloody fast!
