Love the C2 mate. Although not too keen on the rear lights, but I do love C2 2.7's

Do you think the e30 is faster than the e36?

Mmm Im guessing you mean the E30 325i against the E36 323i both have the same power There isnt allot in it the E36 is deceptively quick cos of the 24valve lump being so smooth against the 12valves of the E30.
Id say the E36 has more pull higher up the rev range plus it has the aid of traction control from the off.
My E30 isnt standard minor mods bigger throttle body, superchipped, s/steel exhaust no big gains but they help a little were as the E36 is totaly standard, now if you changed the inlet manifold and throttle body and chipped the E36 power up to between 190 to 210bhp then yes it would be quicker. Ask the experts on here they will know.
E36 better for long straight runs and the E30 would leave the E36 on the twisty bits much more fun to drive depends on your mood.

If i had the money id avoid the E36 M52 lump and shoehorn a E46 330 lump into an E30 230+bhp off the bat, good strong reliable low maintenance engine. Maybe a few tweeks
and before you lot get on my back saying ''nah id stick an M3 this and supercharge that'' im just thinking out loud and being sensible or even the 330 diesel lump, im not thinking about out and out power.

Dream cars then thats different E30 M3 evo 3 with an E46 M3 supercharged engine Bla bla bla!!!!!
or stick an Hartge H50 lump in it..........ill keep dreaming winkeye

nice C2 but i would change the lights, change the alpina round badges back to stock BMW and possibly have an original 325 exhaust fitted (As alpina one wil lbe too expensive) , Genuine "later" rear spoiler colour coded would look good too nice car remember seeing it at Donnington many years ago

Just my opinion i like standard things but each to there own

Very nice C2!! I have just bought one very similar, but has no front air dam, and has tan leather. My car has white needles?(mine has alpina gauges, but your needles are red?)

Just curious- what exactly does your plaque say?

On the early ones they were hand painted red needles not sure on any of the others though.

Plaque reads ALPINA Production
