Hi all,

just went out for a drive today in the cab and thought I'd give it a good run on the motorway. I went to put my foot down and it just wouldnt shift as quick as expected. To be honest, it has been like this for quite some time. It feels like the car just doesnt want to move no matter how much I put the accelerator down.

does anyone know what or why this might be?

Manual or automatic?

If its manual it could be the clutch slipping?
If its auto have you checked the fluid level in the gearbox?Good place to start!

sorry guys its a manual.

Also if I do a cold engine start and put my foot down the car doesnt move hardly for the 1st 2 seconds (1st gear) and then gets this little kick and starts to shift, same when I change to 2nd gear...after that I dont know because I need to slow down because of the junction at the top of my road...
