hello all,
just wondering if any one out there has any experience in putting an e36 2.8 lump into an e30?
will the 2.8 lump and gearbox's mountings line-up with the original e30 mountings?
what esle will be needed? any mods or problems?
any help will be much appreciated.

Short answer is that the engine and box go in easily, using a few stock BMW parts from various models.
The problems arise if you wish to retain a steering system and brakes.
