Just tried to reverse my car out of friends yard and couldnt get reverse,went into first then i lost all gears,its dark and cold and my car is stuck in a shit neighberhood!! Is it the gear selector gone? anyone have any ideas or experience this? The gear stick is now freely moving about but wont find any gears,fells LIMP! 8O

Sounds like the Bo' selector has broken somewhere....
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

Either part 11 has broken, or the clips that hold it, 13 or 17, have come off, or pin 18 has fallen out.
Worst case is that the gearbox is shagged......

Found the problem shift lever underneath the ball joint broke clean off seperating it from the selector rod.
