Looks nice. But if the hassle I had insuring my 328i into which I fitted an S50 engine is anything to go by, I wouldn't have it long either.

Its a pitty, coz its a good looking car...Be too scared to throw that one around though, incase of damaging it...

Those who have seen it in the flesh, is it in gr8 shape?

Faded paint has become oxidised - single stage paint can usually be massively improved through polishing with the right stuff, if its paint that has faded under a clearcoat (laquer) then a repsray is the only option.

Where abouts in Surrey are you? If its just that the clearcoat is particularly scratched/swirled it may be looking worse than it is. Worth having a look to see if its retrievable through polishing before shelling out for a respray.

The guy selling it this time races in PBMW, he also races elises etc and has many many toys, he'll probably be selling as he's got a new toy

His collection of cars is pretty amazing, F430, Gallardo etc
