Not sure if anyone else went, but at Donington at the weekend I noticed an E30 with a bodykit on I didn't recognise... Looking closer I realised it was a left hooker.... then realised it was an ix! only the 2nd one I've ever seen!

56k killers I'm afraid!....too lazy to re-size!

Hey that's got those wheels that someone on ebay is claiming are off an Alpina C2 2.5!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 70319&rd=1

So are they ix wheels then?

I already asked about these wheels in the ebay forum...CLICKY

These aren't the same wheels dude.

Very similar in design, but check the dish on the Ebay ones... HUGE!

Never been a fan of the iX - think it must have something to do with the raised ride height...

Cheers

I thought it was but wasn't too sure as i've never even seen a workshop manuel for one.

I guess the extra ride height is for a bit of off roading then.
shouldn't be too hard to lower one though. wonder what its like trying to get one to drift?

You'll have trouble lowering one because of the front drive shafts dude...

perminant 4 wheel drive 37% front and 63% rear. More thristy and slower due to transmission losses, than Rwd 325i sold mainly in europe and north america. It has some funny single diff in the middle to power wheels. get a touring for some odd ball cred  they is quite heavy too about 1350kgs HTH
