Looks like i'll be dropping an m20 in the bm this w/end.. Its a facelift and the engine is from an early car i assume there is no issues with water pumps etc as im using the early management also..
the engine has been sat for a bit, im gonna change the engine and gearbox oil/filter/plugs... is there anything else that might need changin? will the water pump be ok etc assuming it was when the engine was in its previous home lol?

yeah do the oil + filters etc, water pump should be ok.
splitting the engine and box is fairly easy, but its easier to drop the complete lump in,
flywheel isn`t that heavy tbh

good luck. hopefully you're well prepared for this, my 4cyl facelift to 6cyl pre-facelift engine had many little niggles.
If you need anything mate I'll be able to go through all my invoices from the $tealers and supply any necessary part numbers.
