Hi i was about to go ahead and replace the clutch on my 318is but i havn't got the right socket bit to take the pressure plate off! anyone got any ideas to which size bit i need?? it's one of these star shaped socket bits just dunno what size is needed..

clutch should be an allen key type bolt.

IIRC its 6mm

best type to get is a socket one and use a ratchet making sure that it does not slip off.

the bolts are really soft and you will mangle the inside if you slip off the bolt, leaving you no option other than chisseling them off.
