alrite guys. . . . need abit of help here

i got a 318is lump which is in the process of getting re-built. . . and i need to get the parts together for the re-build.

its out of a 1990 if im correct. . m42 318is (136bhp model) well thats what ive been told.

just wanted to know if its a twin cam. . . how would i know?

The 318IS engine is a twin cam.....

If it's an M42 it's twin cam.

yup it does look like that!!! :D

whats your guys overall opinion of the engine. . . preformance wise etc. . .

my mechanic was goin on about some crap that get the model with the twin cam thats worth re-building or something. . . so just wanted to make sure.
