No, more like an offwhite 323i.

They look like big metal dinner plates. Like something that you made at school when you learnt how to use basic tools.

Maxfield, X-Spokes are wiorse to clean but such is the price of impeccable style.

All the truth bringers are hated my brother - it's only later on when it's too late do they realise the folly of their ways...

So, we have 3 wheels that are acceptbale on a Cabrio - X-Spokes, Alpinas and Split Rim X SPokes that are't too deep.

Please lock this thread.

Ratch, I do enjoy your banter, as il-constructed (sp) and misguided as it is. What would make it more acceptable is if you showed some humility and let us all see what car you're hiding in your avatar!

Er, what's ill-constructed about it?

I'm not hiding anything. It's an arty shot of a totally standard 1990 318iS in Laser Blue. You know what they look like.

Seen this car in the flesh, is blue. Shot is slightly blown out. Look above the kidney grille where the bonnet isn't reflecting, you can see it's blue. Looks like the light has been metered off the grille

The fact that you know the correct spelling for such slang exposes your true Sloane Square dwelling roots.

I would hazard a guess that your first name is Jeremy and you were given a slang dictionary by your auntie Mildred for christmas to help you out should you stray too far off the King's Road.

Let me also give you a pointer should you find yourself out of your manor - don't wear wellingtons on the street - it's a dead giveaway.
Funny but ill-constructed and misguided, here's a heads up for you, what does my location say???

is eh? Totally standard.... Needs some nice tsw 3 spokes me thinks!!!! hahahaha

Whatever - your pic is whiter than Tiger Woods. The fact that you expect people to see a BLUE car based off that sign off is :screwy: ! Learn how to take pictures bud. The manky off-white Golf doesn't help your case either...

Yeovil? TSW 3 Spokes?! WTF you on about? This makes even less sense than the previous dude! C'mon guys you're lowering the standards here. Entertain us!

I know you're not referring to the fact that T.S. Elliot is buried in Yeovil and that's supposed to be some kind of cryptic hint?

Or am I giving you too much credit?

Even T.S. would admit that that 323i is white and that Cabrio rims choices should be monitored strictly...

Royalratch, I'm not entirely. Are you saying that you'd rather see EVERY E30 on the street and at shows rolling on Alpinas and 15" BBS'? How dull would that be!? :)

The way I see it on a car like the E30 which looks pretty hideous when somebody tries to mess about adding bodykits and over fibreglass shite, wheels are one of the few areas where you can truly personalize your Car. I'd personally put my Gentlemen vegetables on the chopping block for a set of 17" bronze/gold BBS RM to stick on a Black E30 (Touring, with a turbocharged M30 sledgehammer under the hood winkeye), others would like a set of 16" Borbets, or orignal Alpinas, hell, there must be some reading this who would love a set of 17" BK Reps - Different strokes and all that.

BBS Splits are kind of in the BBS X-Spoke blanket approval but depends on the colour of the car.

Basically, it's the 21st Century, our cars are so close to being immortal and there are STILL some UNTS defying my carefully defined code that we'd all agreed on years ago!

I'd stick with the 15'' BBS - classic, timeless design :)

There was once a lagoon green 325i for sale near me, with beige leather and Beautiful genuine 16" alpinas. They'd been added by a later owner and weren't factory. Not a mark on the entire car. Unlike the alpina rims i've seen on genuine cars they were staggered. The wider rear dish looked awesome.
