Can anyone give me any advice on how to go about removing the internal A-pillar trim? I need to get in there to re-located the drain tube that runs down the A-pillar, as water is spewing all over my central locking control unit.

Alternatively, can anyone give any tips on how to re-locate the drain tube without removing the trim piece?

Cheers,

Dan

The trim clips out about 2 inches from the top of the pillar. You pull the TOP part away slightly (hold the bottom in), and lift up and out. An easy-to-break clip at the bottom and dash clamp are then released. That broken clip isn't too important

I remember having to unscrew the sunvisor bits to get the headlining to drop a bit too?

Having done all this, the drain pipe will still be hidden inside the box section of the pillar, visible through inch wide holes every so often.

Bugger! Sounds a bit more involved than I was hoping! Do you think I stand any real chance of striking lucky and getting it back on by wiggling/pushing from the cavity behind the drivers side speaker?
