They look good but are ruined by the weight on the rim. Couldnt you use the stick on weights that go on the inside?

theres no point in cleaning it right now. i drive it almost all day everyday and it gets filthy straight away. it was washed on tuesday!
note: how rust free the rear arches are(for a 20yr car)- ive never been able to that clearly in there before i did the rims.

i wouldnt go as far as to say that they are ruined!
is it possible to get the weights on the inside then? that would make em far better. ive sanded them all down-the outer rims to bare metal. painted the centres in a brighter silver and polished the outer rim. the rims need more polishing still.
whats the best metal polish to use to get the rims super shiny?
and where can i get those weights from?

Now you've just got to keep them like it. You'll find that surface wilol be dull and pitted if you don't keep on top of a bare metal polish after every drive!
Look good though!

Can something not be put on to protect it. Probably totally wrong but is it possible to put a couple of thin coats of lacquer on?
