Is there anyone who makes a quick rack for 88 325i or how easy is it to fit a pas system.

Gavo, only real solution for a quick rack is to fit a E36 steering rack which has less turns lock to lock than an E30 one!
This is not a straight forward swap though, think the steering coupling needs modifying and spacers required for the mounts?
Try doing a search for more info.

If your car doesnt already have PAS,fitting it is straight forward enought if you get all the parts from a doner M20-rack/pump/reservoir and pipes/bottom pulley/belt/coupling.
Sounds a lot but the last one i converted took about 3 hours all in to do!

Hope this helps :)

Quick racks are available (or at least were) I drove a car with one a few years back and tbh wasn't that impressed with it, Pas every time, or better still pas with an E36 rack winkeye

Only advantage to PAS is for fast driving because of more feel through the steering!

And unless you like arnorld swarznegger (sp) i would have PAS if you intend to use the car as a grocerie getter cause i've read parking can be hard :D
