Hello all.

Booking forms coming out this weekend. Only 21 space left. That's a massive 69 cars in the crew. And ten of you are Zoners. It's gonna be awesome.

Here's an aerial photo of the campsite. You can see on the right side I marked out an area. That was all my crew from 2006 and at the bottom, the massive rectangle which is our area for 2007. :thumb:

On monday I'm going to make sure my passenger (a work colleague) is 100% going to go. I'm sure he will though. Then I'm booking the ferry and sending back my booking form.

I have requested the stripes in pink! :gay: Well, if your gonna do it....

I want to come along to this.

However, reading the previous 6 pages will take some time at work.

Can someone give me an idiot's guide as to what I should do to at least book a place for now while I cathc up with the rest of the thread?

Cheers

Email sent, graphics and number requested. Just got to get my ferry booked.

Being a newbie to this, I will need to convoy along with some of you. I live in North London.

What's been definitely agreed before I book my ferry?

I think a few of us have already booked this ferry:

8:00 am from Dover on thursday 14th June.

16:01 return from Dunkerque monday 18th June.

With NorfolkLine - £ 38 for driver and one passenger return.

Maybe a load of us could meet up on the M20 on the way to Dover so we get on the ferry together ? :D

I'm about to book my ferry crossing (see below). This is the right one isn't it?

Route 1 : Dover to Dunkerque
Departure Date/Time: Thu 14 June 2007 at 0800
Arrival Date/Time: Thu 14 June 2007 at 1100
Passengers: 2 Adults

Route 2 : Dunkerque to Dover
Departure Date/Time: Mon 18 June 2007 at 1601
Arrival Date/Time: Mon 18 June 2007 at 1700
Passengers: 2 Adults

£38.00 non-refundable.

Question: What do you do about the passenger name on the form if you don't know who it is just yet? Did anyone find out?

Given it's non-refundable, I don't want them to impose a fat 'admin' charge later for adding a name/amending the booking. What has everyone else done?

I'll answer my own question.

Just checked on the site under Terms and Conditions.

"There will be a £25.00 minimum charge for all amendments and cancellations made."

In my book, adding a passenger constitutes an amendment = £25.00 on top of the £38.00 unless you have a named passenger at the time of booking.

Glad I have not booked yet.

This is the top of the M20 where it intersects with the M25 and the A20 turns into the M20. Just had a though there is a McDonalds on the A20 that might make a better meeting point then its just a straight run all the way, no chances of losing anyone

Yep here it is http://www.thefoodplace.co.uk/restauran ... c3da397b7a

The first link isn't working here but that looks like a good meeting place to me!

Apart from I'll be going away from Dover, then back on myself, but it's ok, I don't mind! :D

The first link is basically the address and link to the map:

Mcdonalds
Swanley Serive Area,
A20 Eastbound,
Sidcup.
Kent.
DA14 5JA.
020 8309 7661

You can only enter it if your going eastbound, if your coming westbound you need to pass it and turn around at the next junction

Thanks Cotty!

I think it is only a minor de-tour from west country ajm-e30!
And from the north as well I think, so should be good for most people!

Driftboy(martin i think?) you are from maidstone right? That is around jn 6 and 7 on the m20, why don't we meet there as everyone will need to be going down the m20 anyway. I'll be coming up the m3 so where cotty suggested is a bit of a detour and it means going into london, i get scared of getting lost! I am a cheapskate and only have maps, none of this gps malarky!

I don't mind really, I'll go with whatever is best for the majority. I haven't got sat nav either, maps are much more fun! :?
But yes, we will all be needing the M20 to Dover.

Martin.

Are there any major services southbound on the m20 Martin, this sounds like the obvious choice. Even if they are massive, i'm pretty sure we'll be able to spot you with pink viper stripes!
