change the fluid out dude, worth a few minutes of anyones time, should be done every 2 years minimum, can make all the differance especially for those that find the vclutch grabby in traffic when warm
best bet is unbolt the res and tip all the old stuff out, refill with fresh and bleed whilst topping up.
might be worth lubing the pedal pivot and associated gubbins too dude, cant hurt

If the suggestions above don't remedy the problem, it's probably new clutch time I'm afraid
As the friction plate wears, the clutch mechanism adjusts itself to take up the wear which eventually leads to the clutch diaphragm not popping over centre so you have to do all the work to lift the clutch yourself.
That's badly explained, sorry!

Yes... but I don't think it's the friction disc. I didn't feel a hard clutch when there was nothing left of mine. Might be a dry and filthy release bearing. Might be the pilot-bearing too... but I will not conclude anything about that bearing since I have no experiense. Change the fluids first. You need to empty the whole system if you don't have a seperate clutchfluid resevoir. And bleed the brakes and clutch last.
You have to bleed in the following order:
1. Right Rear
2. Left Rear
3. Right Front
4. Left Front
5. Clutch Slave Cylinder
