Hi there!
what 'dubs you got?!Big fan of them myself!
like Demalotcrew said-gotta get an e30 tho-"the ideal house pet for the discerning VW owner"
also service intervals are a lot longer than the 3k for the flat fours

Nooooo! If he's a fan of the E30, he'll be a Mk2 Golf boy, not a Beetle man...

Mk 2 Golfs are amazing!
am a BIG fan of 1.8gti 8v's they really are a grippy and rapid 'pocket rocket' and will do the 'cocking the rear wheel in the air' move if driven hard enough.
I'm also an 'oldskool aircooled' fan-next car if I get the cash is gonna probably be a type 2 splitty or a pre '72 bug!
so anything either VW or BMW is ok by me

Welcome aboard mate - stay around here too long and we'll soon have you converted... used to have a nice Mk2 8v Golf myself...one of my favourites of my old cars - traded it for an SRi 16v Cavalier

i luv the 1.8t passat.. you can get them at good money. they have a huge amount of space. and the engines are bullet proof more or less.. i hunted ages for the right one.. if i had some spare cash it would be a 325i sport defo. that car rules ! i had a hard top one ages ago and at the same time my missus had a tricked out 325 cab..

Lovely. Looks really nice with the Merc rims on.
I'll let you off with not having an E30 at the moment if that's what you currently drive round in...
