same as Alpina's 2.7's really. the 2.7 part with a modified head, cam, ecu, 6 branch and system, shocks springs and all that lark.
BUT there is a H27SP or something which had tasty throttle bodies and 220bhp, but u won't find one! someone who knows will tell more like the 2 Ian's!

Hartge quote 204 bhp and 196 lb.ft torque.
If it actually makes that then its going to be a very bloody fast machine!

What do you mean people havent got a clue. You think your some kind of Hartge God?
Go look at the Hartge spec for the H27 and you will see 204 bhp and 196 lb.ft.
Infact, phone them up and they will tell you exactly the same thing.
They might have updated the new H27 conversion to 210bhp all the old literature says 204 bhp.
Why Mr H35 has to be so rude I dont know. Funny thing is that he is such a nice bloke on the phone. Maybe I will phone him and ask him what his problem is.

The H27 is a 204/205bhp conversion but was done somewhat differently to the Alpina.
The headwork is totally different but achieves a similar respectable output as the Alpina.
The conversion consists of Head and bottom end work, 6 brancher, cam upgrade, thicker anti roll bars, uprated suspension, wheels, interior mods, bodykits were optional.
The HARTGE recipe as it is known, gives a car with a fair bit more power but heavily increased roadhandling characteristics.
If you have any more specific questions, I will happily answer them, or I could willingly look through any of my Hartge literature to provide any technical detail you require.
Dont forget there was a H27SP as well which produced 220bhp.......

Thankyou very much Iain for clearing that up.
You know anything about that H27 on ebay? I'm quite interested. I much prefer Hartge suspension to the Alpina stuff. I would expect the engines to be just as good as the Alpina but with different characteristics as they use a higher profile camshaft.
Torque is meant to be 267NM = 196lb.ft which is very very respectable!
H27SP.......If only!

I must admit that I am lacking in knowledge of the Hartge brand, as I am with Alpina also. I can reel off model names and the size of the engines, but as far as manufacturers figures and production numbers I haven't got a clue.sick of this place full of ppl that havnt got a clue
Standard E30's then I'm pretty much okay.
Maybe we should have a separate section on the Forum for 'recognised' tuners (Alpina, Hartge, Schnitzer, etc.) where people COULD gain knowledge by asking questions and getting answers from the guys who are clued up about them...
Just a thought...

I dont know what it is with you mate. You get annoyed even when people make helpful comments.
Last time I looked on ebay it was at Ԛ£2500 or near abouts. Thats not bad, not ideal but not bad. The high number of owners doesnt help it in all honesty.
Your not going to leave, you always end up coming back.
What is your exact problem with the zone? Maybe you should tell us and we can try to reslove your issues.
Just because someone doesnt buy your car doesnt mean you have to go and get upset. Not everyone has Ԛ£3000 stored away to buy another E30.
Look at the abuse I took over my Alpina C2, i didnt get all upset and leave did I?

This is not MSN messenger. This is a public forum, anoyone can post anywhere. Its not considered rude to jump into threads. If you want to talk to people one to one then talk to them on MSN messenger.
Who takes the piss out of your car? When did I ever take the piss out of your Hartge's?
e30zone is not going down hill at all. There are people getting many types of advice and help, the meets section is great, more and more interesting cars and parts selling. What would u improve?

Mate dont leave! if you are having problems with the site, you should try and talk to one of the Mods, i know times are hard and its a shame your feeling like this, but i think that you need to concentrate on whats the most important thing in your life right now, cars can be replaced. I dont know your personal circumstances, but think positive, before you go to sleep, say this over and over, "Things are going to be fine, things are going to be fine, things are going to be fine".H35-IAN wrote:how about u stop posting on everything i try and write when im talking to others!

They are only cars Ian (but not to sell yours short in anyway), not sure about the "its gona b fine!
" cry yourself to sleep idea tho. Ive always found you have to address things directly and detach how upset you are about things.
All the best with things, keep at it and you'll sort it out!
