leak through boot

can any one give me some help on a leak through the sunroof (am nearly sure) it drips from where the rear speakers are, in the rear parcel shelf , into the boot and runs down a channel to the rear seat and on to the foot well behind the drivers seat. Am a plumber so when it comes to water am a god (my mum told me that belieave that) just thought if i was to take the roof clouth down to repair it i'd never get it back into place right (HAS ANYONE DONE THIS) THANKS FOR ANY ANSWERS

Not wanting to scare you, but this is the usual symptom when the rear corners of the sunroof support tray rot away (where the drain tubes connect). It could just be one of the pipes come loose, but I doubt it 
Assuming you have opening rear 1/4 windows, you can pull the rubber down and peel the headliner back far enough to see if the rear corners are still there.
