Hi everybody, for those of you that dont know i have turbocharged my engine in my e30 and i am going to run a true 600 to 700HP

Before i ran around 380 Hp and tore my rear cross member off where the diff bolts on to, and as a result my boot has been pulled down too

I have bought a new shell now and would like to do it properly, reinforcing the rear shouldnt be a problem, but i dont really want a roll cage as i want to keep the rear seats as a normal road car,

Does anybody know how much power the e30 2 door shell can hold before twisting?

also any suggestions for reinforcing my shell will be greatly apprieciated.

Thanks

Gary

I think you might be pushing the outer limits of E30 experience there dude.

There is a swedish e30 with 1048bhp running a M5 diff and custom driveshafts and a roll cage, so it's poss.

IIRC they seem welded the whole car to aid strength, best best IMO is to get on PPF's website, so many 700+ bhp e30's there.
