apart from the eta2.7 is it worth taking other bits off to store for a rainy day?

Diff is worth having!
Think its either a 2.97 or 3.07?
Good for E30 conversion

Autobox is unique to an ETA , longer than standard M20 auto and different output flange. Advertise as breaking on ebay, list a taillight and put lots of pics up you might get a pleasant suprise ,lots of penniles losers as well but no pain no gain as they say,

If the bumpers are PERFECT, take 'em off and sell them for £20-30 each. If the dash cluster works properly that's another £25. Mint front doors with no rot on the inner front seal area are £25 each.
I've broken two 525e's. The last one was an E plate lux with a mint interior, rotten wings and i paid £65 for it off Ebay. I sold the doors and bootlid (£100), screen (£25), diff (£40 to Toby Unna!), rear lights (£30), rad (£25) , front seats (£40), cylinder head and cam (£40), ECU (£15), cluster (£25), good sunroof panel £20. Oh, and a pair of very nice Dolphin grey bumpers, £50.
I gutted the autobox (took an hour), got the tyres off the nasty Metric rims and stripped everything alloy from the car - engine mounts, upper timing cover, inlet manifold, cam cover, gearbox mount and weighed in £40 worth of alloy and I sold the tyres for £20. All in all I broke the car to just under £500 and still had a perfect 2.7 short engine which is what I bought the car for. I'm the Master when it comes to breaking cars and selling every nut and bolt - even apparently worthless bits find a home on Ebay with a 1p start!
But if you want to throw it away...........

In a situation like this you must do what you feel to be right in your heart.
That's right - be council. F8Ck 'coming out' when you discover that you're partial to bumming other Men, 'coming out' as Council is where it's at.
E28 bits strewn to the four winds and a shell in the local car park. Easy does it.
