Sorry mate, would but my engines on the garage floor, for rebuild & turbo conversion. Will be getting it ready for the ring in the summer. Are there any trips planned with the zone.
I normally go for easter weekend with a few mates , then a road trip to amsterdam via the autobahns.

Sounds good!
I will be sorting something out for summer I would think.
I am gonna sort something out for late April/Early May, and then again for mid/late Summer.

You might be able to, if you don't mind driving a fair few miles to find out yes/no.
It might be worth giving them a call the day before. I would do that.
Oldroydsr....good stuff.

What's the score with Silverstone on that date Sal? Is it BMW only?
I'm tempted to do the 27th at Brands, but if Silverstone is available on the 31st I might come and do that!
I'm doing Bedford in Feb too! Woohoo!

broken rocker is what happens when u fit a ignition cut rev limiter (bee-r) and are constantly on the limiter,,,,maxfield wrote:Thought jap cars were suppose to be reliableKaran wrote:ello, found all the bits that broke from my head and new rocker arm coming tmro.....so lucjy nothing else broke!

turbo=problems
2nd gbox nearly on the way out,
clutch done
diff whiney
turbo gaskets gone twice,
many tyres worn out
3 sets of front pads and rears
4 oil changes
12k miles
but all worth it when u beat a e30 m3 evo2 track prepped on ledas and caged on slicks by moe than 15 seconds around cadwell park!!
i tihnk tyres and clutch is something to do with drivinf always sideways i think when i seen u at ace you were side ways.
an evo2
how much hp has your car got guessing 300hp+ depending on boost

under 300, prob close to 280-90ish on 1.0bar, but i run bout .9 on track....
ace is just pissing around wrongness,on track when fluids get hot and there's lots of g forces throwing fluids around is when stuff goes bad. Sone things are pretty flawed on the car, eg the gbox suffers surge on cornering which is a nissan fault, valve springs too soft for the fairly high limit of 7.5k so u get float. bmws mush stronger than jap cars, especially modified jap cars!!
i am trying to iron out the probs like overheating afetr 8laps ish which is very annoying....prob need a bigger rad and more holes in the front bumper

should 'ave got a soarer old chap, these things are built like nuclear bunkers and over-engineered to the hilt, especially the V8 engine, sadly no V8 manual though, a few 1jz manuals about though

there's plenty being fragged on egay, twin turbo manuals are out there, a fair bit of supra stuff bolts onto these cars too, but not in the engine dept. MK4 TT supra stuff won't go on the 1jz lump. but suspension, drivetrain, brakes etc are all Supra swapover
probably not much more thirsty that what you're seeing if you're ranting the c*ck off it everywhere

Karan,
You abuse that car to death, much like I do the Civic.
I'm on my third Gearbox, fifth CV joint, many other repairs etc. It'd live forever driven normally but it's always at 8.5k and for about an hour a time!
WHERE'S SAL! SILVERSTONE INFO PLEASE!!

Here's a small selection of photo's from today, not entirely pleased with them but here you go!

Dave you are a loon in that civic, FWD is not meant to be that fun!
And how the hell you and Karan missed each other when you span is a miracle! Poor old Horner nearly had a heart attack!
Cheers for the passenger ride mate! Awesome!
