Hello!
Don't suppose anyone's got a map for an Emerald M3D that's been written for a 325i by any chance?
Mine came programmed with a VR6 turbo map but I've gotta put 500 miles on the engine before they can map it so I reckon it'd be better to have a map for the engine than something that might be miles out.
Cheers!
Alex

why not run her in on motronic dude ?, I think Andy wired his emerald so he could swop between the two, ie he drove to the mapping session on stock ECU, swopped a few plugs over in the engine bay , then in she went for the mapping session on the base map.
best soloution I could come up with, swung the MS for me too being able to Diy it and having a good base map available.
I'm at a similar transition stage, which to fit first, gotta be the MS, the rest is nuts and bolts

Mmm that's not a bad idea, but because of the turbos, throttle bodies and associated gubbins, there's nowhere for the AFM to go and I'd really not be happy about running a turbocharged motor on N/A management.
I figure though that if I can get a 325 map and then add the boost map from the VR6 thing to that then it'll be a reasonable starting point.
Tis actually quite easy to do, if you convert the *.fig files of Emerald into a *.txt file, you can open them in notebook and then just cut and paste bits in from different maps
