Nice one James, good to see the tech1's still rolling on.

You have a nice motor there, but she will req a lot of TLC, in return you will recieve a big smile everytime you drive her.

(feel the "first" to "Second gear" change at about 6k rpm's and feel the LSD working to keep up in a straight line)

I smile everytime I drive mine......

regards

hi all thats my new project home so im really chuffed had a better look over her now shes home and i being honest in my eyes its a good one. fired up and run as sweet as a nut bar bleeding petrol from under the inlet manifold so thats a job for tomoro in the daylight. after a good look over all i can find is the rear valance rear towing eye and the bit at the window had the glove box out and cover and had a good look in there and it seem fine checked all the inner arches found a wee repair at the drivers rear but nothing major so will get pics up tomoro once shes had a clean. on the subject the drivers seat has been recovered which has been done right with proper material so rthe interiour is mint but its really light for my liking any one out there wanting to do a deal on a dark interiour? will even throw in my 318is interiour as a sweetner...

hi was out stripping the old 320 shell today getting all the stuff off it that i need to send away and stuff im keeping and while i was there thought id get some more pics of the sport to put up so here they are.. as all can see shes needing a rear panel and a few repairs here and there plus put the carpet back in once i get the hole in the pillar fixed. what can i say in my eyes shes worth the £350 i paid some might disagree but i truly beleive shes worth saving as i reckon to put her right will cost me less than what i would have needed to spend on the 320 to get it to sport spec. shes running sweet as so im well chuffed in that department looked over the brake pipes and fuel pipes and there all in good nick and brake pipes are like new so thats a plus

She's looking good James - make sure you do a running documentation when ever you do a little something to her, that way you can look back on this thread and cry when you add up all the costs lol - i'm also at the start of a tec1/ish restore with a small difference - currently got a complete engine from Oz's tec 1 in the conservatory stripped down to bare block and head and starting to paint bits up to look "Cliffy Bling" lol.
