hi, are 320 injectors the same as 325 ones. i need to know what to put in my 2.7 convertion that is all but complete. Is there a gain to be had from using the right E36 ones?
also what plugs are recomended for the 2.7 with about 11:1 comp ratio and fast road cam etc??
Cheers.

most 320s have the same blue coloured injectors as the 325i, there are some out there with white coloured ones fitted and a higher pressure fuel regulator, those are not to be used in anything but the original capacity engine.
if you look @ the injectors themselves, you'll notice that there is a part number on them , its right where the electrical connector plugs in and should have 715 as the last 3 digits.
as for the e36 injectors, tried them and saw no real gains, assuming you have the 715s go with those.
make sure you have the correct fuel pressure regulator , the one you need is rated @ 3 Bar, avoid fitting an FSE or similar as the extra fuel and higher rising rate end up overfuelling the engine, not good on a fresh set of bores
I can offer a 2.7 specific chip if you can provide details on how you did your build I'll be glad to sort one for you @ the normal zone rate of Ԛ£55
keep us posted, oh and make sure to use the 325 intake runners and TB, 320 ones are way too small and will strangle your new beast.
HTH
Edit: get NGK plugs to suit a chrome bumper 325i, 1985 vintage and use NGKs, nothing else will perform as well, just get the std plugs for this, no need for fancy Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ ones, old tech plugs fopr old tech engines dude

Thanks for the advice, glad i dont have to change injectors, they are already in a 2.5 manifold that was on the 320. Thanks for offer of a chip but i already have a zone bad boy. plus am hoping to do maf convertion soon.
Is a chip other than standard still used / a good idea with the maf setup (dastek etc.)
