After a lot of faffing about we finally got the 2.7 beastie fired up today.
There's still a lot of work until it's finished, gear lever needs fitting as does the prop and exhaust and a lot of smaller parts too. Also the power steering issue needs to be properly investigated.
Here's a quick video of her fired up. Bear in mind there's no exhaust on there hence the muscle car sound. Also excuse the poor video quality, it's only my mobile phone.

Note, you need quicktime to play it unless anyone knows how to convert it to mpg?

Good work gents
she sounds pretty good.
Just finished running my 2.7 in today, I'm pleased to say that she has way more power and torque than expected !.
Enjoy
Cheers,
Iain T

Iain, what was your car before the 2.7?
If it was a 4-pot, how did you get around the issue of the power steering pipes not reaching the front of the engine?

It's not the rack that's the problem it's the bracket, just gonna raid the scrappy and hopefully get one with a pump to match.
