would you need to drill holes in the parcel shelf so the sound comes through???

I've used inch thick MDF rings... still had to cut the carpety bit of the parcel shelf, but not the metal underneath... the magnets sit snugly in the old speaker recesses.

Looks a bit untidy, but that's cos I'm crap with a jigsaw, and lazy, so never bothered to paint the rings black...

i suggest taking each 6x9 and standing in the back garden with, one in each hand, arms outstretched. then spin round as hard as you can (eyes closed) and let go at a random interval.

don't look round as you re-enter the house.

then get some better speakers.

If following the above method, its probably best not to stand too close to your house, or your greenhouse, should you have one!
