My HID Lights
Moderator: martauto
Right i'm lost here, as which ones which, i ask, because i assume the right (as u look at picture) is the xenon, and left is HID....
seems very strange to me, as i have HID's fitted to my e36 and the light given looks nothing like the left hand side light. Looks more like the llight given from the right.
Also fitted HID's to the e30 318is and they agin look like the right hand side picture, nice blueish tinge to them

Thing is HID is xenon

I think they fill up the normal bulb with xenon gas or something, im not sure but the one on the left is a normal filement type bulb with a blue coating and 80w rather than the normal 55wDemlotcrew wrote:Thing is HID is xenon
The one on the right has got 2 ignition packs that are high voltage and bulbs filled only with gas (not filement)

are they hard to fit? do you need to wire them up to a 12v power source?
Yes im pritty sure they are legal as all the new upper class cars carry HID's now
That plate was too small, this is when i got my car sprayed.
I swapped it a little while after when i got pulled for:
1. Spayed blue rear lights
2. Neon Blue angel eyes
3. No Exhaust back boxes (was in boot LOL)
4. Small plates
5. Rear tyres were illegal
6. and apparenlty no insurance!
They said that they would do me for no insurance, and nothing else, so i produced my documents at the police station and i got away with everything else
And obviously i got my front and rear lights changed, and tyres, plates, exhaust ect all done after that
