Cheers fella, was after 45 profile tyres but they've stopped making them now so had to make do with 50 profile baloons.

The car drives like it should though instead of running on clumsy 17's and lets not get started on that debate. We all know some people refuse to believe that a larger wheel reduces the handling of the car. Having driven mine with 15's, 16's and 17's I can definately say it performs a hell of a lot better with 15's on it. Plus it doesn't look rice.

Adam,

That is really really nice, I'd be proud to own it!

The wheels compliment it really well, and it's very tidy!

Top marks. :)

I'm running 205/50/15's

I tried to get 45's but they don't make them any more and next time I'll get 195's for a bit more of a stretch, maybe I could find some 195/45/15's?

The church is easy for me, it's opposite my house!!

looking good adam. have your rear arches been tweaked at all? they look very thin in one shot...

i've had 15" BBS, 16" alpina replicas and 17" BK alpina replicas and i found the 16's to be on a par with (or bettter than) the 15's but i am running 215/40/16's so the rolling diameter is actually less than on the 15's! the 17" BK's are ok for boat anchors, flower pots or traffic bollards but no use as wheels! :D

Yeah the arches have been extended an inch to take 9" wheels from when I had the Keskins fitted.

They've also been rolled!

looks awesome adam, and i think the tyre choice is perfect also as standard are 205 55 15,your 205 50 15's are just enough to make them not look like balloon tyres.A lot of peeps fit the 50 profiles to the standard 15 bbs and they look good. :thumb:

i was tempted to leave the 316i badge that came with my new tailgate on for exactly this reason. nobody ever expects a quick 'old estate car' :D winkeye

i also have a stealth bodykit-free sleeper image going on which helps wind up the saxo brigade. the only giveaways are the scorpion m3 exhaust (might paint it black!!!), the lowering and the anthracite stealth alpinas  winkeye
