Anyone else looked at this car. I got pics today of it and it looks very sweet. Been garaged for 95% of its life. The guy is looking for £3000 ono. Its on the BMW car club for sale section.

Thats where I found my E30 325i :D

Had 84,500 miles when I got it for a 18 yr old pretty good.

It had done about 2k a year for the last 14 yrs 8O

I know about this car - or at least I spoke to the guy about it when it was ebay - it seems to be the real thing - according to him it was owned by an old man who basically used it once a week and then took it to the garage to see what needed doing.

My instinct for what its worth was to believe him

He wanted £1750 for it then and I was sorely tempted- if it had been a 2 door i would have bitten his arm off

So please explain whats wrong with the 320i ? Is it that all you guys like the bigger engines ? Is it a testosterone thing ? :D :D I've seen the pics and this car is a timewarp model.

No way is that worth 3 grand.

Probably the most undesirable model built and looks soooo dated. People just don't want these so you can't ask silly figures even if it's done virtually no mileage.

Age takes it's toll weather it's been driven or not.

320i is a thirsty overweight pig of an engine with no guts, 4 doors have more than 2 doors  , chrome isnt the most desirable part of an E30, but on a 4 door its just light iron :)

i found my 320 touring to be quite nippy for a big old bus and still pulled hard even after 170000 miles.i think folk are a bit hard on the 320 sometimes but i still wouldnt pay 3G for one though, much better to have that well spec'ed 325 touring listed below in markleighs post 8)

Quite agree Fuzzy.
You could have the 318i 2 door below it with the change too...
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring
