I need a passenger side (nearside) engine mount off an e36 6 cylinder (320/325/328/M3) asap.

If you have one and you're anywhere near Sussex/Surrey/London/Essex kind of direction please give me a ring on 07968 444 017.

(Mods please don't remove as it's not an e30 part, I need this to fit an e36 engine into my e30).

Sh!t

That's quite a large area...can't you go to the local dealer and get them to phone around?
If it's any help the part # is 11811141137, but I guess you've probably got it.

:? sorry I can't help mate.

Got the engine in yesterday but it sits skewed front to back along its length. Comparing the engine mounts I've been supplied with those on Ian332isports's car it seems my nearside one has been supplied incorrectly by the breakers that also supplied the wrong dipstick in the e34 dipstick tube. So, a phone around, a promise by the local scrapyard that they had one and we had a mad dash to try to get one off before they closed. Almost an hour of trawling through their yard was followed by "Maybe we don't have one after all mate..."

BMW can get me one for Tuesday, which is obviously no good it needs to be today.

I've just been promised by another breaker that they have one so I'm off there in a second. Cheeky f*ckers want twice the price of a new one though.

ste.

Did you get this sotred? I'm taking my manifold off today and if you really can't get hold of one, you are welcome to 'borrow' mine from an S50B32 (or have it and get a replacement to me before I install my engine).

I'm going to drop the manifold to you today and could bring it.

Will the S50 mounts from an M coupé work or are they different?

Cheers, I appreciate the idea. If it's not a problem to bring it with you Jai it might get us out of the problem if the one I've been promised from the scrapyard falls through.

Hopefully I won't need it though! :D

Nice one.

Saves me going back out in the rain! Had to battle to the engine to get the manifold off. Just trying to get hold of a 22mm spanner to get the oxygen sensors out...

Good louck Ste.
