a fully loaded DAF truck, applied at 80mph from the rear winkeye Oy andy you been on the wife beater again?

for our Australian friend, despite you lot tw4tting us in the ashes (who wants a 3 inch trophy anyway) i would reccomend the tech 2 kit.... bad news your car is a metal bumper version so you will need to read the tech article i wrote (click the articles link above and find the link) but in addition to this you will need to
1. cut off your front towing eyes (cut off with grinder)
2. change the lower metal valance for a later version (unbolt old one, remove, bolt on the new one)
3. change the fog lights for a later version (bolt on)
4. change the bumper mounting struts for later ones (front and rear, rears need some minor drilling)

the good news is to fit a tech 2 kit on a prefacelift cab is relaitively easy compared to a tin top as they have different rear arch profiles and the rear bumper needs modifications on a tin top, this is not the case for a cab (or so i am told).

for the parts i listed above.. you can get them from any face lift car in the scrap yard

the end result will look something like this....

PM me if you need any help, i also have a tech article on my other computer for retro fitting a tech 2 kit on a pre facelift car (for help in fitting the valance and mounting struts), pm me and i will give you the link

awww man its seem quite a bit of hassle to fit a tech 2 to a pre facelift! i should have done my research before buying a tech 2 kit

now i need a lower metal valance for a later version, fog lights for a later version and change the bumper mounting struts for later ones

any one know how much to get this kit painted and fitted roughly?!

i read your aticle on the pre facelift conversion very good info i must say :) as for the ashes im not into cricket :P i am keen on the m3 front and rear bars atm as there is a company here that make the full kit cheap and a straight fit. i am jus trying to hunt down pictures of a cab with one. as for finding e30s in a scrap yard here, thats rare as a dodo's golden shit :)

not a keen fan of their E30 kit, but their rear bumper is the nicest part of their E30 kit. There kits are decent quality. My mate when he had his E36 had an Autovogue kit and everything lined up perfectly. Very good quality which is reflected in the price.
