Why on God's green Earth would you wanna start an exhaust system off in aluminium of all materials?!

When I did mine, I had the turbine exducer flanges laser cut along with various other odds and sods.

My downpipes a handmade 3 inch special, V band flange made it quiet easy tbh.

Bums. I've got some material to make the bit I'd weld onto the downpipe, but no clamp :(

Ho well.

Hmmmmmm, gonna stick that on my "list of things to look into the cost of making"

It's an ever growing list of bits of metal I need to contact my supplier about. I really should stop having thoughts along the lines of
How much?! I could make one of those!

these V band flanges dont really fit that well, they are a different profile then on the turbo and also slightly different diameter, also the if you do order one of these flanges then measure the flange on the turbo from the inside not the outside. I sent Ant one I had spare, ones on my turbo are a few mm out but the clamps still pull togther ok. My flange on my turbo is 4" but I ordered the 3.5 and its still a little bit big. Might be worth seing how much the exhaust section costs from cummings and just chop the flange off

i just pulled in a favour and replicated the turbine flange ,ordered an original clamp from cummins ...but a decent turbo specialist would supply these clamps..

i will hunt it down tommorrow for a part number or measurement....this will do you Alex as youve got same housing :)

no mate, the studs are closer together... its been booked in for next week at my zaust centre, they have the same size flange for it, they also need to chop a bit off the downpipe as new turbo is longer in length..
