What are peoples opinions on this?
I like the Tech1 spoiler but prefer the Tech2. Has anyone done this combination and does/will it look(s) right?

Hmmmmmm,i'm facing a similar problem myself! Will a Tech II spoiler look right with an Alpina front valance?I guess at the end of the day if you like it thats what counts.I dont think i'll be using mine just yet tho.If i had a Tech I i'd want to keep it original

It's not strictly a Tech 1, it's a bog standard 325 with the kit on. I guess what I'm after is something that stands out a little more without being too OTT

Contour of the Mtec 2 spoiler just doesnt go with the Mtec 1 kit
Stick with the Mtec1 rear, one of the nicest boot spoilers for the E30 I think

Are the lower and upper parts separate then? I've never actually seen one close up.

I think I'm going to give it a go, if it looks naff then I can always swap it back. Do the Tech1 and 2 use the same mounting holes?
Will the existing spoiler have rubbed on the bootlid much and worn the paint away underneath?
