ive just bought a motorised screen for my e30 but have got a feeling that it wont open because the indicator stalk will be in the way has anyone else had any experience with fitting one of these or does anyone know what modifications i can do to make it fit

lhd dash cluster..

but all i do is indicate left when i open/close the screen

You can buy a LHD HVAC trim from the USA and modify it to fit the center console.

i have put a wanted post up for a lhd panel but trying to find one is a pain i might try that indicating left method

buy a 2nd hand indicator stalk... take off the little cap at the end of it... trim the remainder down and super glue the cap back on.... mine now opens and closes without any probs..

finally got my screen in and im using the indicator method for now, but i have bought one of those left hand drive panels now woooooooooo

Put a lhd console in mine - didn't have time to mod it though, just forced it in, but it looks ok!!
