Hi i use a swirl pot on my mk2, Ralloy parts only simply the best..facet fuel pumps are also good

They're pretty much essential on the E30 if you're using it on track, they suffer terribly, i'd agree that facet pumps are decent it's what I used to use on the E30

PBMW regs for 2007 have been changed to allow them
So looking at getting one sorted, looking at mounting in the spare wheel well then covering the well and sealing

This might help your setup too. XL for the swirl pot. I use a red top for the tank to pot and then a sytec high pressure pump for the feed to the fuel rail.

I get a guy down the road to make them for me or I buy them in from various ali fabricators, one that has also been mentioned on here, if you're interested email me and I'll do a deal as I have 2 of the pumps and a filter in stock, 2L one has been removed! 
Suprised the PBMW regs didn't allow them anyway, i lost 3rd place at brands a few years back due to fuel issues, very frustrating and got a swirl pot soon after
