i like this, alot 8)
but i notice there's no turbo damper?
also there's no water cooling connected for the turbo? this wasn't a factor in your original turbo deciding it wasn't going to play ball?
good conversion though fuzzy.

thanks guys, turbos mounted on a 4wd drive manifold to which im told doesnt really need the damper but will probably be fitted at a later date as will the water cooling, seems a few people do away with the water cooling for some odd reason but the way i look at is if cosworth designed it then its best to have it so im getting some banjo type pipes made up to add it as the originals are no longer available.i have seen other cars like this but as far as i know it wouldnt help and might have played its role in my last turbo going bang

burger kings = BK alloys = nasty and ruin the handling :D

that lovely new rocker cover does make the engine bay look especially dirty though! :?

still all in, can't beat a tourer sleeper  :D

i wondered what simon meant by burger kings,i like the look of them so i dont think id swap them and im still toying with the idea of getting them powdercoated in anthracite/gunmetal grey spokes with polished rims as per yours 8) but i think ill also get a set of 15" bbs type wheels as well for track days. i was going to clean up the engine bay to match the rocker but decided it would be easier to make the rocker cover dirty to match the rest as ive never got the time for cleaning it :D

they're great! a lot better than the EBC disks and Mintex M1144's i had on before! i used to cook them in 5 mins of spirited road driving!

re the BK's, don't spend out on them until you've tried some 15's or 16's with good tyres. i've had 15" BBS, 16" alpina reps and 17" BK alpina reps and the 17's ruined the car!!!! i found the best of the lot was my current 215/40/16 16" alpina rep setup.

id put that down to the pads then as ive never lost my brakes using the redstuff ceramic pads.no matter how hard i abuse them they just keep biting

redstuff pads have a much higher temperature range :D that's what i'm running now!

remember with your wheels you won't be able to put so much force through the brakes as the wheels will themselves reduce the amount of available grip!!! :D

can you guess that i hate 17" BK reps?!!!! don't get me wrong i like the look of them but not the adverse affect on performance. :duck:

Very smart car dude.

On the water cooling subject, a friend with a Cossie told me once your onto t34's at good boost levels water cooling can become ineffiecent and actaully pointless, how much of this is true i don't know. A question for the passion ford boys i'd say before you tackle it.
