Just wondering what people do with their old e30 parts that the can't flog on ebay?
Do you let the dust bin men take them away?, or do you take them somewhere?Just fly tip 'em? Or do you recycle them?
Most councils have a civic amenity/ recycling sites which should take old engine oil. Some will even take metal so that it can be recycled! If they don't take metal, explain to them that money can be made from it still and it also looks very good on their recycling target tonnages!

They get paid like Ԛ£120 a day where i live! and they drive well fast! Very powerful things those wagons.6potWil6pot wrote:What you wanna be a Skip Lorry Driver?
I've seen the front end of one a metre in the air lifting one of our bins.
And a naughty driver with 2 full bins on top of each other!

Yeah theyre pretty swift, but thats from being like a 7 litre Turbo Diesel or summin, quite a torque rush!
Heh the ones round your way "doubling up" thats naughty
I think their pay packets pretty good, but i never see what they earn and all of them drive boring old cars saving their Ԛ£ for other things

As simon pointed out,the lorries are always rather powerful, reckon they would fun to drive!
Main reason though would be the rich pickings in the skips!
The lovely undamaged perfect office chair i'm sat in right now was pinched from a skip!
I've recarpeted a whole flat with carpet out of a skip!
I've had loads and loads of quality gear from skips!

LOL,you gotta skip chair too
Missus and I have flogged a few bits and pieces on Ebay too for a bit of fun.
Lamps,toy cars,books etc etc.
Never get loads of money, more for a bit of fun TBH,although the toy cars, all 1970's matchbox, corgi, couple of Tonka and Dinky sold for Ԛ£21,not bad really!
The trunk I have in my sitting room, the one thats popped up in a few of the pics I've hosted on the Zone came out of a skip,it was brown gloss paint and looked dreadfull.
I took a planer to it,removed all the old paint and revealed a beautiful wood undernieth, not sure what wood it is though, but its bloody heavy, add toi that the rustic heavy duty metal banding makes it look great.Worth a fair few quid too.
The most interesting find was a whole case of WW2 letters from a woman to her bloke.
Was about 20 years worth of letters from the starting love letters through to marriage, him buying a garage and eventually retiring, was quite a story, better than anybook money could buy!
Skips,I lovem!

One mans rubbish is another mans treasure.
And for all though that think its discusting you would be suppirsed what you find in a skip (just not the one we have in work full of riped out windows and the crap from the rest of the est).
Missed out on a loverly chair for the pc though went to get and the skip lorry came i was gutted

Leave the poor man alone, there must be some washing up to do,or perhaps Chris's underpants need ironing
Only joking! I 'm only saying that because i'm being one of those keyboard hard cases!
Would never say it to your face, probably beat the sh*t out of me!
